Surah Ad-Dukhaan (44/114)

سُورَةُ الدُّخَانِ

सूरह Ad-Dukhaan
1بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ حمٓ
Translations
हा मीम
Haa Meeem
Ha, Meem.
2وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ
Translations
वाज़ेए व रौशन किताब (कुरान) की क़सम
Wal Kitaabil Mubeen
By the clear Book,
3إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةٍۢ مُّبَٰرَكَةٍ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ
Translations
हमने इसको मुबारक रात (शबे क़द्र) में नाज़िल किया बेशक हम (अज़ाब से) डराने वाले थे
Innaaa anzalnaahu fee lailatim mubaarakah; innaa kunnaa munzireen
Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind].
4فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ
Translations
इसी रात को तमाम दुनिया के हिक़मत व मसलेहत के (साल भर के) काम फ़ैसले किये जाते हैं
Feehaa yufraqu kullu amrin hakeem
On that night is made distinct every precise matter -
5أَمْرًۭا مِّنْ عِندِنَآ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ
Translations
यानि हमारे यहाँ से हुक्म होकर (बेशक) हम ही (पैग़म्बरों के) भेजने वाले हैं
Amram min 'indinaaa; innaa kunnaa mursileen
[Every] matter [proceeding] from Us. Indeed, We were to send [a messenger]
6رَحْمَةًۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
Translations
ये तुम्हारे परवरदिगार की मेहरबानी है, वह बेशक बड़ा सुनने वाला वाक़िफ़कार है
Rahmatam mir rabbik; innahoo Huwas Samee'ul 'Aleem
As mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
7رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ
Translations
सारे आसमान व ज़मीन और जो कुछ इन दोनों के दरमियान है सबका मालिक
Rabbis samaawaati wal ardi wa maa bainahumaa; in kuntum mooqineen
Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them, if you would be certain.
8لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۖ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Translations
अगर तुममें यक़ीन करने की सलाहियत है (तो करो) उसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं - वही जिलाता है वही मारता है तुम्हारा मालिक और तुम्हारे (अगले) बाप दादाओं का भी मालिक है
Laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa yuhyee wa yumeetu Rabbukum wa Rabbu aabaaa'ikumul awwaleen
There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death. [He is] your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers.
9بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّۢ يَلْعَبُونَ
Translations
लेकिन ये लोग तो शक़ में पड़े खेल रहे हैं
Bal hum fee shakkiny yal'aboon
But they are in doubt, amusing themselves.
10فَٱرْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِى ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ
Translations
तो तुम उस दिन का इन्तेज़ार करो कि आसमान से ज़ाहिर ब ज़ाहिर धुऑं निकलेगा
Fartaqib Yawma taatis samaaa'u bidukhaanim mubeen
Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke.
11يَغْشَى ٱلنَّاسَ ۖ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ
Translations
(और) लोगों को ढाँक लेगा ये दर्दनाक अज़ाब है
Yaghshan naasa haazaa 'azaabun aleem
Covering the people; this is a painful torment.
12رَّبَّنَا ٱكْشِفْ عَنَّا ٱلْعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ
Translations
कुफ्फ़ार भी घबराकर कहेंगे कि परवरदिगार हमसे अज़ाब को दूर दफ़ा कर दे हम भी ईमान लाते हैं
Rabbanak shif 'annal 'azaaba innaa mu'minoon
[They will say], "Our Lord, remove from us the torment; indeed, we are believers."
13أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
Translations
(उस वक्त) भला क्या उनको नसीहत होगी जब उनके पास पैग़म्बर आ चुके जो साफ़ साफ़ बयान कर देते थे
Annaa lahumuz zikraa wa qad jaaa'ahum Rasoolum mubeen
How will there be for them a reminder [at that time]? And there had come to them a clear Messenger.
14ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا۟ مُعَلَّمٌۭ مَّجْنُونٌ
Translations
इस पर भी उन लोगों ने उससे मुँह फेरा और कहने लगे ये तो (सिखाया) पढ़ाया हुआ दीवाना है
Summaa tawallaw 'anhu wa qaaloo mu'allamum majnoon
Then they turned away from him and said, "[He was] taught [and is] a madman."
15إِنَّا كَاشِفُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّكُمْ عَآئِدُونَ
Translations
(अच्छा ख़ैर) हम थोड़े दिन के लिए अज़ाब को टाल देते हैं मगर हम जानते हैं तुम ज़रूर फिर कुफ्र करोगे
Innaa kaashiful 'azaabi qaleelaa; innakum 'aaa'indoon
Indeed, We will remove the torment for a little. Indeed, you [disbelievers] will return [to disbelief].
16يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ ٱلْبَطْشَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓ إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ
Translations
हम बेशक (उनसे) पूरा बदला तो बस उस दिन लेगें जिस दिन सख्त पकड़ पकड़ेंगे
Yawma nabtishul batsha tal kubraa innaa muntaqimoon
The Day We will strike with the greatest assault, indeed, We will take retribution.
17۞ وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌۭ كَرِيمٌ
Translations
और उनसे पहले हमने क़ौमे फिरऔन की आज़माइश की और उनके पास एक आली क़दर पैग़म्बर (मूसा) आए
Wa laqad fatannaa qablahum qawma Fir'awna wa jaaa'ahum Rasoolun kareem
And We had already tried before them the people of Pharaoh, and there came to them a noble messenger,
18أَنْ أَدُّوٓا۟ إِلَىَّ عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌۭ
Translations
(और कहा) कि ख़ुदा के बन्दों (बनी इसराईल) को मेरे हवाले कर दो मैं (ख़ुदा की तरफ से) तुम्हारा एक अमानतदार पैग़म्बर हूँ
An addooo ilaiya 'ibaadal laahi innee lakum Rasoolun ameen
[Saying], "Render to me the servants of Allah. Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger,"
19وَأَن لَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّىٓ ءَاتِيكُم بِسُلْطَٰنٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ
Translations
और ख़ुदा के सामने सरकशी न करो मैं तुम्हारे पास वाज़ेए व रौशन दलीलें ले कर आया हूँ
Wa al laa ta'loo 'alal laahi innee aateekum bisultaanim mubeen
And [saying], "Be not haughty with Allah. Indeed, I have come to you with clear authority.
20وَإِنِّى عُذْتُ بِرَبِّى وَرَبِّكُمْ أَن تَرْجُمُونِ
Translations
और इस बात से कि तुम मुझे संगसार करो मैं अपने और तुम्हारे परवरदिगार (ख़ुदा) की पनाह मांगता हूँ
Wa innee 'uztu bi Rabbee wa rabbikum an tarjumoon
And indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me.
21وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا۟ لِى فَٱعْتَزِلُونِ
Translations
और अगर तुम मुझ पर ईमान नहीं लाए तो तुम मुझसे अलग हो जाओ
Wa il lam tu'minoo lee fa'taziloon
But if you do not believe me, then leave me alone."
22فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوْمٌۭ مُّجْرِمُونَ
Translations
(मगर वह सुनाने लगे) तब मूसा ने अपने परवरदिगार से दुआ की कि ये बड़े शरीर लोग हैं
Fada'aa rabbahooo anna haaa'ulaaa'i qawmum mujrimoon
And [finally] he called to his Lord that these were a criminal people.
23فَأَسْرِ بِعِبَادِى لَيْلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ
Translations
तो ख़ुदा ने हुक्म दिया कि तुम मेरे बन्दों (बनी इसराईल) को रातों रात लेकर चले जाओ और तुम्हारा पीछा भी ज़रूर किया जाएगा
Fa asri bi'ibaadee lailan innakum muttaba'oon
[Allah said], "Then set out with My servants by night. Indeed, you are to be pursued.
24وَٱتْرُكِ ٱلْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا ۖ إِنَّهُمْ جُندٌۭ مُّغْرَقُونَ
Translations
और दरिया को अपनी हालत पर ठहरा हुआ छोड़ कर (पार हो) जाओ (तुम्हारे बाद) उनका सारा लशकर डुबो दिया जाएगा
Watrukil bahra rahwan innahum jundum mughraqoon
And leave the sea in stillness. Indeed, they are an army to be drowned."
25كَمْ تَرَكُوا۟ مِن جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ
Translations
वह लोग (ख़ुदा जाने) कितने बाग़ और चश्में और खेतियाँ
Kam tarakoo min jannaatinw wa 'uyoon
How much they left behind of gardens and springs
26وَزُرُوعٍۢ وَمَقَامٍۢ كَرِيمٍۢ
Translations
और नफीस मकानात और आराम की चीज़ें
Wa zuroo'inw wa maqaa min kareem
And crops and noble sites
27وَنَعْمَةٍۢ كَانُوا۟ فِيهَا فَٰكِهِينَ
Translations
जिनमें वह ऐश और चैन किया करते थे छोड़ गये यूँ ही हुआ
Wa na'matin kaanoo feehaa faakiheen
And comfort wherein they were amused.
28كَذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَوْرَثْنَٰهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ
Translations
और उन तमाम चीज़ों का दूसरे लोगों को मालिक बना दिया
Kazaalika wa awrasnaahaa qawman aakhareen
Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people.
29فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنظَرِينَ
Translations
तो उन लोगों पर आसमान व ज़मीन को भी रोना न आया और न उन्हें मोहलत ही दी गयी
Famaa bakat 'alaihimus samaaa'u wal ardu wa maa kaanoo munzareen
And the heaven and earth wept not for them, nor were they reprieved.
30وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ
Translations
और हमने बनी इसराईल को ज़िल्लत के अज़ाब से फिरऔन (के पन्जे) से नजात दी
Wa laqad najjainaa Baneee Israaa'eela minal'azaabil muheen
And We certainly saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment -
31مِن فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَالِيًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
Translations
वह बेशक सरकश और हद से बाहर निकल गया था
Min Fir'awn; innahoo kaana 'aaliyam minal musrifeen
From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors.
32وَلَقَدِ ٱخْتَرْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Translations
और हमने बनी इसराईल को समझ बूझ कर सारे जहॉन से बरगुज़ीदा किया था
Wa laqadikh tarnaahum 'alaa 'ilmin 'alal 'aalameen
And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds.
33وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَٰٓؤٌۭا۟ مُّبِينٌ
Translations
और हमने उनको ऐसी निशानियाँ दी थीं जिनमें (उनकी) सरीही आज़माइश थी
Wa aatainaahum minal aayaati maa feehi balaaa'um mubeen
And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial.
34إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَيَقُولُونَ
Translations
ये (कुफ्फ़ारे मक्का) (मुसलमानों से) कहते हैं
Inna haaa'ulaaa'i la yaqooloon
Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying,
35إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتُنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ
Translations
कि हमें तो सिर्फ एक बार मरना है और फिर हम दोबारा (ज़िन्दा करके) उठाए न जाएँगे
In hiya illaa mawtatunal oolaa wa maa nahnu bimun shareen
"There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected.
36فَأْتُوا۟ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
Translations
तो अगर तुम सच्चे हो तो हमारे बाप दादाओं को (ज़िन्दा करके) ले आओ
Faatoo bi aabaaa'inaaa inkuntum saadiqeen
Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful."
37أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍۢ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ
Translations
भला ये लोग (क़ूवत में) अच्छे हैं या तुब्बा की क़ौम और वह लोग जो उनसे पहले हो चुके हमने उन सबको हलाक कर दिया (क्योंकि) वह ज़रूर गुनाहगार थे
Ahum khayrun am qawmu Tubba'inw wallazeena min qablihim; ahlaknaahum innahum kaanoo mujrimeen
Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals.
38وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ
Translations
और हमने सारे आसमान व ज़मीन और जो चीज़े उन दोनों के दरमियान में हैं उनको खेलते हुए नहीं बनाया
Wa maa khalaqnas samaawaati wal arda wa maa baina humaa laa'ibeen
And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play.
39مَا خَلَقْنَٰهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Translations
इन दोनों को हमने बस ठीक (मसलहत से) पैदा किया मगर उनमें के बहुतेरे लोग नहीं जानते
Maa khalaqnaahumaaa illaa bilhaqqi wa laakinna aksarahum laa ya'lamoon
We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know.
40إِنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَصْلِ مِيقَٰتُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Translations
बेशक फ़ैसला (क़यामत) का दिन उन सब (के दोबार ज़िन्दा होने) का मुक़र्रर वक्त है
Inna yawmal fasli meeqaatuhum ajma'een
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all -
41يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِى مَوْلًى عَن مَّوْلًۭى شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
Translations
जिस दिन कोई दोस्त किसी दोस्त के कुछ काम न आएगा और न उन की मदद की जाएगी
Yawma laa yughnee mawlan 'am mawlan shai'anw wa laa hum yunsaroon
The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped -
42إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Translations
मगर जिन पर ख़ुदा रहम फरमाए बेशक वह (ख़ुदा) सब पर ग़ालिब बड़ा रहम करने वाला है
Illaa mar rahimal laah' innahoo huwal 'azeezur raheem
Except those [believers] on whom Allah has mercy. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
43إِنَّ شَجَرَتَ ٱلزَّقُّومِ
Translations
(आख़ेरत में) थोहड़ का दरख्त
Inna shajarataz zaqqoom
Indeed, the tree of zaqqum
44طَعَامُ ٱلْأَثِيمِ
Translations
ज़रूर गुनेहगार का खाना होगा
Ta'aamul aseem
Is food for the sinful.
45كَٱلْمُهْلِ يَغْلِى فِى ٱلْبُطُونِ
Translations
जैसे पिघला हुआ तांबा वह पेटों में इस तरह उबाल खाएगा
Kalmuhli yaghlee filbutoon
Like murky oil, it boils within bellies
46كَغَلْىِ ٱلْحَمِيمِ
Translations
जैसे खौलता हुआ पानी उबाल खाता है
Kaghalyil hameem
Like the boiling of scalding water.
47خُذُوهُ فَٱعْتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
Translations
(फरिश्तों को हुक्म होगा) इसको पकड़ो और घसीटते हुए दोज़ख़ के बीचों बीच में ले जाओ
Khuzoohu fa'tiloohu ilaa sawaaa'il Jaheem
[It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire,
48ثُمَّ صُبُّوا۟ فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِۦ مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱلْحَمِيمِ
Translations
फिर उसके सर पर खौलते हुए पानी का अज़ाब डालो फिर उससे ताआनन कहा जाएगा अब मज़ा चखो
Summa subboo fawqa raasihee min 'azaabil hameem
Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water."
49ذُقْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْكَرِيمُ
Translations
बेशक तू तो बड़ा इज्ज़त वाला सरदार है
Zuq innaka antal 'azeezul kareem
[It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble!
50إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَمْتَرُونَ
Translations
ये वही दोज़ख़ तो है जिसमें तुम लोग शक़ किया करते थे
Inna haazaa maa kuntum bihee tamtaroon
Indeed, this is what you used to dispute."
51إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍۢ
Translations
बेशक परहेज़गार लोग अमन की जगह
Innal muttaqeena fee maqaamin ameen
Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place;
52فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ
Translations
(यानि) बाग़ों और चश्मों में होंगे
Fee jannaatinw wa 'uyoon
Within gardens and springs,
53يَلْبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٍۢ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍۢ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ
Translations
रेशम की कभी बारीक़ और कभी दबीज़ पोशाकें पहने हुए एक दूसरे के आमने सामने बैठे होंगे
Yalbasoona min sundusinw wa istbraqim mutaqaabileen
Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other.
54كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍۢ
Translations
ऐसा ही होगा और हम बड़ी बड़ी ऑंखों वाली हूरों से उनके जोड़े लगा देंगे
Kazaalika wa zawwajnaahum bihoorin 'een
Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes.
55يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٍ ءَامِنِينَ
Translations
वहाँ इत्मेनान से हर किस्म के मेवे मंगवा कर खायेंगे
Yad'oona feehaa bikulli faakihatin aamineen
They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure.
56لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلْمَوْتَ إِلَّا ٱلْمَوْتَةَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
Translations
वहाँ पहली दफ़ा की मौत के सिवा उनको मौत की तलख़ी चख़नी ही न पड़ेगी और ख़ुदा उनको दोज़ख़ के अज़ाब से महफूज़ रखेगा
Laa yazooqoona feehal mawtaa illal mawtatal oolaa wa qaqaahum 'azaabal jaheem
They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire
57فَضْلًۭا مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
Translations
(ये) तुम्हारे परवरदिगार का फज़ल है यही तो बड़ी कामयाबी है
Fadlam mir rabbik; zaalika huwal fawzul 'azeem
As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment.
58فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
Translations
तो हमने इस क़ुरान को तुम्हारी ज़बान में (इसलिए) आसान कर दिया है ताकि ये लोग नसीहत पकड़ें तो
Fa innamaa yassarnaahu bilisaanika la'allahum yatazakkaroon
And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded.
59فَٱرْتَقِبْ إِنَّهُم مُّرْتَقِبُونَ
Translations
(नतीजे के) तुम भी मुन्तज़िर रहो ये लोग भी मुन्तज़िर हैं
Fartaqib innahum murta qiboon
So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end].
